Peasant Museum

Villembray

Through over 3,000 objects and tools, this little museum tells the story of peasant life in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
It is based in the attic and barn of a farm dating from the 19th century. There you can find a little school corner, chemist, grocery, bakery, lacemaker, living room in a rural house, farm tools, reconstruction of an inn and bistro, and other aspects of peasant life.

Saint Babolein's Shrine

Le Coudray Saint Germer

Saint Babolein’s shrine, located at the Church of Coudray Saint Germer, has been a listed historic monument since 17 June 1901. This is a wonderfully intricate example of metalwork.

According to specialists in medieval art history, this is an exceptional piece of metalwork from 13th-century religious art.
This shrine is a chapel made of copper, bronze and gilded metal with a wooden core from the Gothic era, and also includes older figurines dating back to the 11th century.
